Week Five

     Two of my favorite Web 2.0 sites are Facebook and YouTube. Facebook is a great way to keep in touch with my friend from college. I can also post picture of my little boy for my friends and family to see. I also enjoy watching videos for entertainment and for educational purposes. In the past, I used YouTube in my classroom and showed instructional videos. Now, our school has Youtube blocked so I use Teacher Tube instead. Teacher Tube provides hundreds of educational videos to use in the classroom. My kids love watching them, and I think they are a great teaching tool.

    Thank you for sharing this! I use YouTube to share instructional videos too, but we have recently been "encouraged" not to use this website. I did not know that there was a Teacher Tube. I will definitely be checking this out. I'm sure it will be a great resource to use in my classroom.

    Hi Kelly,
    I also like Teacher Tube. It is a great resource to use in the classroom. Our school has also banned YouTube and Blogging Websites, but Teacher Tube is a great alternative and a great way to incorporate technology into instruction.
