Week 4 Post

     One type of multimedia that I use in my classroom is interactive books. There are several websites that have free interactive books, and my students love them! A great website for interactive books is http://pbskids.org/. I also use an instructional program called Reading Assistant. This is an online reading program that is research-based. It reads a story to the student,  and then the student reads the story again and answers questions. After that, the student records a reading of the story and the program times how many words per minute that the student reads. My students love this program, and I can already see improvement in their reading!
